So I don't quite understand what you mean by the sql file. When exporting from Firefox, Firefox does allow you to create the bookmarks in an HTML file format and that is the format of my choice. If your asking how recent was the html file which was exported from Firefox bookmark manager (libarary) window then it was just today about 5 minutes before trying to import into Firefox in the other Windows 8.1 account. Alternatively you could (with Firefox closed) simply copy that places.sqlite file from the source to the target profile. You need to export bookmarks from the source profile to an HTML file in order to import that data to the target profile. Instead your bookmarks, browsing history, and download history are stored in a SQL file named places.sqlite. DanRaisch wrote:How recently was the file you are trying to import exported to HTML? Firefox doesn't use the HTML format for its own functions.
